Beatrice Beneforti

BIOGRAPHY

I’m Beatrice. I born in Pistoia, Tuscany.

My interest on Arts started when I was young and I first approach them, starting with photography. I improved my portrait technique myself for seven years before applying to the Academy of Fine Arts, in Florence. At the Academy I started to study Painting, watercolor in particular: my big masters have been Scheile, at the very beginning, and then Gromley.

Moreover, during my studies I developed my photography techniques to picture landscapes. Since October 2016, following a workshop organized by SCART, I have been experiencing trash art. It became the subject of my thesis, on September 2017.

Beatrice is one of the young artists selected by the Siena Art Institute Onlus and the Siena School for Liberal Arts for Florenart3 – Rinascimento digitale per la sostenibilità del contemporaneo (Digital Renaissance for contemporary sustainability), a project that invites young artists, tourists and citizens to become protagonists and co-creators of contemporary Florence through an approach combining art, digital manufacturing, computer programming and storytelling.
The project is realized with the contribution of Sillumina.
